We came for dinner and the restaurant was beautiful. Very romantic setting and the tables had fresh flowers. My husband got the prime rib and I got the chicken Alfredo and both dishes were excellent. We also ordered the onion ring appetizer and it was perfectly crispy and cut thin so they were easy to eat. I highly recommend that dish.

This place is the best kept secret in Ruidoso. I'm embarrassed to admit we have been coming to Ruidoso on extended vacations for over 5 yrs and we never dined here. Reason being the exterior does not mirror the hidden "gem" inside (we actually imagined it would look like a Denny's). Oh we're we so wrong. Sumptuous leather wing back chairs in the bar area. And, comfortable chairs in the dining area. Second, the location is tricky and can be a bit hazardous to turn into. However, what lies inside is so worth the trouble. The waitstaff are warm and efficient. Menu and drink selections surprisingly expansive. Our food and drinks was flawless. ( Spouse ordered prime rib and AB sours while son and I had the catfish and White Russians). Last, came the biggest surprise. Our bill was less than two-thirds the total we spend at our GOAT Wyndall's @ The Inn! Yay! Definitely a win-win coming here. PS It's quite here..you can actually have dinner conversation.

Very impressive menu. The food was really delicious. Very welcoming staff. I always wanna try elk tender for a while & this place has the best. Sophia is very friendly & great server. Highly recommended

As a James Beard awarded Chef & Restaurant owner of 40 years in South Carolina, I was Impressed. Formal yet Casual. I ordered Crab Cakes as an app. It was a Meal! Full of Crab with very little filler. The Remoulade was Fantastic! Not the typical Horseradish type. More sweet citrus. Sorry no pic, tore into it too fast! We ordered the Catfish, nightly special Lamb Chops & Wagyu Ribeye. Catfish was not the typical filet. They took a Large filet and cut it into strips/fingers. Cooked to perfection! Lamb was a beautiful MidRare and tender, Wagyu Steak was also cooked to a Perfect MidRare. Trust me, American/Australian/Japanese Wagyu all cook differently. Wagyu is higher in fat and contains less moister than Angus. It also melts at a lower temp. This was Australian Wagyu(Sir Harry's??) and was perfect. Service was professional, polite and made us feel welcome. Price is fair for the Quality of the ingredients. For those that say this place is pricey....It is what it is. 2 apps, 3 entrees, 4 cocktails, $175 is Reasonable. I've paid $200 for an A-5 Japanese Wagyu Ribeye.

This was our first time to dine here & the meal was Delicious. We had Trout and Chicken Fried Steak. Haley was an excellent waitress. We will definitely be back. Great restaurant for date night or family.

Absolutely delicious food. We came to Ruidoso for a vacation from El Paso and we eat out 2-3 times per day each time in a different place. This is the only place which made us absolutely happy about everything: food, service, prices. Jonathan was very polite, professional and efficient. We had Brussel sprouts, crab cake, pasta and a burger. Everything was mouthwatering. If you are in Ruidoso- that’s the best place to eat out.

Best experience ever the waitress was great, food was great, and the restaurant was great. Very nice place beautiful on the inside Steak was great onion rings were delicious and everything was over sized all the plates were huge but delicious Pork belly was delicious nice and tender but savory Cheese cake was delicious Good selection of wine and other drinks Will definitely go back
